Teaching Portfolio (Home)

Welcome to my teaching portfolio! To navigate, use the bullet-pointed menu on the right side-bar.

It currently includes my music education experiences from spring and fall semesters of 2016 at the Pennsylvania State University. This includes lesson plans, observations and reflections. My philosophy statement and research can also be found.

About Me

My name is Robin Yukiko Romine and I am a Music Education Certification student at the Pennsylvania State University. I received my B.M. from Berklee College of Music.

From 2006-2009 I taught English in Chiba, Japan and began giving private lessons regularly in San Francisco in 2011. I also founded the San Francisco Singer-Songwriters' Workshop, a monthly seminar held at the Musician's Union (AFM 6).

While my primary emphasis is voice, I am very interested in other instruments, namely piano, cello, and saxophone (the latter two I had my first experiences with at Penn State).
